JOB TITLE: Nutrition & Agricultural Education Coordinator
STATUS: Exempt, Full-Time
LOCATION: House of Hope, Stuart, FL
REPORTS TO: Manager of Volunteers
JOB SUMMARY: Design and execute a comprehensive nutrition and gardening education program for children, teens, and families. Connect individual and group volunteers to the garden projects with an emphasis on vocational training as well as health and nutrition education. Assist with the planning, layout and design of current and future garden spaces to maximize efficiency and safety while using a variety of farming techniques. Participate in efforts at the HOH clean room around volunteer projects to maximize food sources and utilization. This position is under the supervision of the Manager of Volunteers and will work closely with other HOH Departments and volunteers as well as HOH collaborative partners.
JOB TITLE: PROJECT HOPE PROGRAM ASSISTANT
STATUS: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
LOCATION: House of Hope
REPORTS TO: Project HOPE Program Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Assist House of Hope clients and others by providing organization services including, but not limited to, case management, assessment and screening for financial assistance, food pantry services, Clothes Closet, holiday programs, and referral to other community social services. Maintain case files, and perform timely and accurate collection of client data with entry into the organization’s database. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
