Staff members and expert volunteers at House of Hope connect hundreds of people per month to vital resources and benefits, helping people to navigate the complex social services landscape.
One of the most important referrals is to the VNA Mobile Health Clinic, which comes to House of Hope locations once a month, providing free basic health care to people without insurance. Other common referrals who also operate on site include Whole Child Connection to access SNAP and Medicaid benefits, and CILO (Coalition for Independent Living Options) for programs and services which assist those with disabilities.
Friday, September 24, House of Hope sponsored a panel of community nonprofit leaders to explore how poverty affects health and how health in turn affects economic status. To watch the discussion, please visit our YouTube channel: At the Crossroads of Poverty and Health Panel Discussion - YouTube.
For more information about additional services and programs that may assist your current situation, please call (772) 286- 4673 or visit your nearest branch.
We strongly recommend that you call these agencies prior to heading to their locations, if their schedules have changed since our last website update, we'd hate fo you to waste a trip!
